Trudon is the oldest candle manufacturer in the world
In 1643 Claude Trudon opened a store for candles and spices on Rue Saint Honoré in Paris. Later, Trudon was appointed purveyor of candles to the court. Today, Trudon candles are among the most sought-after luxury scented candles. Each of the handmade candles is in a Venetian jar and each fragrance is named after a historical event.
