FROHSINN stands for an ever-evolving mix of interior lifestyle accessories – from the in-house designed FROHSINN collection of leather and textiles to carefully curated vintage treasures.

From Appenzellerland to Zürich
Perhaps it's because she finds four-leaf clovers everywhere she goes. Interior designer Claudia Silberschmidt spreads cheer and happiness with her interiors and her own collections. She brings her passion for folklore from her homeland, the Appenzell region, into her designs. She combines this with rustic elements, a touch of glamour, a dash of humor, and great attention to detail.
Claudia is also the founder of the Interior Design Studios atelier zürich, which has been in existence since 1999, and is known for prestigious projects such as the “Hotel Le Grand Bellevue” in Gstaad and the “Zurich Private Club Baur au Lac.”
With FROHSINN, Claudia Silberschmidt fulfilled her dream in 2014 of being able to share her design philosophy outside of her interior design projects.

Inspired by the mountains
Our NAVAJO collection is inspired by the craftsmanship of the First Nations People of America. A photograph of a beautiful Navajo blanket from the late 19th century was the inspiration for this collection. Launched in 2016 in one colorway, the same pattern is now available on dhurries in over 13 colorways, in three standard sizes, and also as cushions—and the variety is far from exhausted!
