Data protection is of high importance to Frohsinn. We strictly adhere to legal regulations when collecting, processing and using data. We ask our customers to review this privacy policy each time they visit www.frohsinn.ch. By using this website, the visitor agrees to the currently valid version of this privacy policy.

We require information from customers in the following cases:

when placing orders;
when making contact;
when signing up for the newsletter.

When visiting www.frohsinn.ch, various information is stored by default (including IP address, time and duration, operating system, browser, page views and the website from which the customer visits shop.frohsinn). The pseudonymised data is used exclusively for statistical purposes and to optimise the online offering.

In addition, personal data is only stored if the customer voluntarily provides it as part of personalisation (e.g. for the purpose of placing an order) on the website. The customer may object to the use of their data at any time. Upon request, shop.frohsinn will provide the customer free of charge with information about the data stored about them. shop.frohsinn will delete, correct or block a customer's data upon request.

Frohsinn processes and uses personal data for order processing, maintaining customer relationships, analysing usage behaviour, conducting market research and market analysis, and for marketing purposes (in particular for sending a newsletter by email). The customer can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the corresponding link in the newsletter. The required data may be forwarded to service providers who provide services such as operating websites within the scope of commissioned data processing or order fulfilment. Customers may object to the transfer of their data for advertising purposes at any time.

Frohsinn always strives to protect personal data and uses SSL encryption for this purpose.

3. Data Security

Frohsinn takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect customer data against unauthorised processing and to ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data. However, the customer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords for this website.

Frohsinn asks its customers to note that the internet is generally not considered a secure environment and data transmitted via the internet may be accessible to unauthorised third parties, which may lead to the disclosure of this data, changes to information content, or technical disruptions. Despite extensive technical and organisational security measures, data may possibly be lost or intercepted and/or manipulated by unauthorised persons. It is the responsibility of customers as website users to inform themselves about the necessary security precautions and to take appropriate measures. When customers send confidential information to shop.frohsinn, this is done at their own risk. If in doubt, shop.frohsinn asks its customers to contact its staff in a more secure manner.

4. Cookies

Frohsinn uses cookies, which do not store any security-relevant data. The cookies are used for filling and managing the shopping cart during online orders. These are therefore session-related cookies that do not remain on the customer's computer after leaving the website.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. To use our shopping cart, temporary cookies must be permitted. The customer can allow or prohibit temporary and stored cookies independently in the security settings. 5. Tracking Tools

Frohsinn collects and stores data for marketing and optimisation purposes using a tracking tool. Google Analytics is used as the tracking tool.

www.frohsinn.ch uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies": text files that are stored on the customer's computer and enable analysis of the customer's use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the customer's use of this website (including the customer's IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. shop.frohsinn will use this information to evaluate the customer's use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators, and to provide further services related to website use and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google will not associate the customer's IP address with any other data held by Google. The customer can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the browser software settings; however, shop.frohsinn points out that in this case the customer may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, the customer agrees to the processing of data collected about them by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.

Frohsinn uses Google Analytics with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension. This causes the IP addresses collected by Google Analytics to be truncated. This measure is intended to prevent Google from linking IP addresses with personal data.
