Wonderous Autumn

When it gets darker outside, we switch to light and warmth at FROHSINN. The inspiration for our wonderful autumn favourites is the vegetables that are now in season. We love the warm, sensual colours and shapes of pumpkin, carrots, radishes and turnips. They glow warm and friendly and carry a cosy earthiness. Did you know that the purple autumn turnips, which we call Räben, were as important for basic nutrition in the Middle Ages as potatoes are today? So the Räbeliechtli procession is also a kind of harvest festival.

Set the table in autumn style 

With the dark autumn nights, the time of dinner invitations again is back again. Inviting dear friends over, sitting together at the table and enjoying wonderful autumnal dishes such as pumpkin soup, porcini risotto or polenta is the nicest way to bring warmth into the house.

How to set the table with FROHSINN

Choose hand-woven, rustic cotton placemats. By the way, placemats also look beautiful on a tablecloth, making the table even more festive and lavish.
