Paris is always a good idea
At FROHSINN, spring already starts in January. In mid-January, we travel to Paris to the "Maison et Objet" trade fair to discover new products and manufacturers. At the same time fashion shows are taking place in Paris and the whole city is tingling with hustle and bustle, new trends and new beginnings. In the narrow streets, the first mimosas glow in front of flower stores and everywhere showrooms open their doors for exciting exhibitions.
January basically awakens wanderlust and the desire for something new. That's why I'm revealing some of my favorite addresses in Paris here, and you'll find lots of little helpers to ease the travel fever.
Travel fever
Travel fever is a bit like love. It makes you feel longing and your heart beats faster. We think Paris is always a good idea to treat travel fever. This exciting, beautiful city is just four hours away from Zurich by train. Give your passport a nice, new leather cover. Our passport covers also have room for cards and tickets. They come in many colors and as well as silver and gold. To match, we have pretty tags for your luggage. The leather accessories are, like our home accessories, made of fine buffalo leather in small manufactories according to our design.

We have been staying at the Hotel Thoumieux in the 7th arrondissement on and off for years and it is always like coming home! The interior design is by India Mahdavi. The wonderful, modern brasserie is perfect for indulging in culinary delights after the first day of the fair in this hotel-owned oasis.

Food
For me, Bouillon Julien is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Paris. And it keeps the promise of Edouard Fournier, who founded the restaurant in 1906: "Ici, tout est beau, bon, pas cher!"

Shopping
I love the small stores in the St. Germain quarter with all the great galleries and interiors stores. Of course, a quick stop at Café de Flore is part of it. Despite the great renovation of Samaritaine, my favorite department store remains Le Bon Marché'.

Inspiration
Besides small fashion stores, there are many exciting things to discover in the Marais, such as the Carpenters Workshop Gallery and one of the coolest museums, the Musée de la chasse.
