After studying interior design at Central Saint Martins, Moroccan designer Bouchra Boudoua returned to Marrakech to establish a studio in collaboration with local potters, drawing on the knowledge of many generations in the field. Boudoua draws on the roots of ceramics in Moroccan culture and strives to balance craft and design in her work.
Made of terra cotta and finished with a hand-painted glaze, the piece is largely influenced by Boudoua's daily life in Morocco and her travels in the region.
